Surprise!!!!

I thought this post would be better suited by itself.

We have a new surprise in the Veazie Family. As of christmas we have discovered that we are going to be having another baby =)
I started out sicker then ive ever been with any of the other kids. I felt like I had the flu every day for a total of 4 months straight, the Dr. tried so nicely to put me on some meds to help with the nausea but all it did was put me to sleep and didnt help the nausea part. So of course I just put up with it, eating green apples, popsciles, and sniffing peppermint oil every chance i got to keep my food down. The baby and I made with grace, strong and brave.
The little bean inside kept a smile on my face no matter what. Instead of hearing the heart beat at our 11 week appt we got to see it. The dr. couldnt find it, im guessing its because the baby was hidding and wiggling so much, I remember cuz all i could see was a little gummy bear on the screen wiggling and dancing like crazy. We all laughed and waved at it and watched it wave back. The kids thought this was amazing to see. The dr. was amazed at how much the baby wiggled and moved he even sat in amazement at how much our little one was dancing!!
Well the baby is healthy as far as we can see, I soon got over my nausea. Still tired and drained a lot I still found the energy to clean and keep up with the kids. My belly started popping out. I still fit amazingly in my size 16s and was very proud of that but had to cover up the bump with a maternity shirt.
I soon since then have blossomed into size 18 pants or maternity which ever feels the best (sometimes its pajamas for the day =) But happy to finally have a belly to prove I really am pregnant and I look it too.
At around 16 weeks I started feeling flutter which was fun, I always love that part knowing I now know there really is a baby in there and it can now let me know that its there and it loves me. I have now been able to enjoy my pregnancy, even though this one seems to drain me and wants me to eat mexican food on a daily basis =)
Since it has taken me so long to recover my blogger, we have also found out the gender of our little one. We found out in April at 16 weeks, I of course cried my eyes out and so did samara, we are finally getting another little GIRL!!! My husband and I are so excited.
I told greg that since it will be the first girl in 20 some odd years and his first (we met when sam was 1) that he could name her. He picked out the beautiful name Cali, I then found in a baby book a variation of the name Callia meaning "beloved" and its also french so we thought it fitting since, mine, my grandmother, and my mothers names are all french that her name should now be Callia and her middle name after my mother, Antoinett (ann) So let it be told her name is: (maybe spelled different in the future there are so many variations we are finding, to help people pronounce it better) Callia Ann Veazie.
All the emotions running through me (not to mention extra girl hormones) are like a dream. Its been almost 7 years since ive had a sweet, soft , little girl. Since its been ruff and tumble boys. Every time i feel her kick or move its amazing. I think of what she will look like and how soft she will feel to hold in my arms and cuddle. I want her to be as healthy as can be. With every breathe and move I make all I can think is "am i keeping her safe enough?" "am I doing everything right?" I am so paranoid about my every move and what I eat its crazy. Even greg has become softer with the thought of "his" little girl inside of me. He is so loving and caring (not that he wasnt before) and has now become very protective of me and helps me watch what I eat and how I feel, not to mention its gotten hot and ive started swelling at 20 weeks. He worries about that and puts my feet up every chance he gets. I had toxemia with two of the kids and it can put me and the baby in danger so he watches me like a hawk. I think its cute. He love us so much.
Sad to say but excited at the same time this will be the last baby in the veazie family. One of us will be getting fixed, with his mine and ours, we have a house full 6 kids for us is enough and we love each and everyone of them so much. Our heart is filled with so much love, and so is our home! Mission Completed!!!!!

Update On The Veazie Family

Sorry its been so dang long since i have last written. I had a long process of problems recovering my blogger =( But its okay i can now get back to it and update everyone on the cute little family of mine that I love so much!!

So update on Samara: She is now almost finished with kindergarten all ready I cant believe how big she has gotten. She is smarter then ever of course and loves school. She is doing great making friends in her class, even though she can be a little bossy they love her anyways.
She has now lost a total of 2 teeth, (yes we are going to be broke with the thought of her teeth and 3 more children to go lol) the tooth fairy has been very busy, and is now awaiting a 3rd tooth coming soon.

Zaiden: He has become such a handsome big boy. He has been following his big sisters every move still, and wanting his big boy teeth out now. He even let his sister try and pull one out (not a good idea).
He is hopefully getting ready to start at SUU Headstart preaschool in the fall, we applied and are awaiting confirmation. We had gotten samara in the year before so not doubting that we wont get in. Im excited he really needs this school, I feel he is a little behind and needs the individual attention from teachers and needs to be able to make some friends. He is the middle child and has a big middle child complex, but we are working on it with little progress.
He has become very head strong and will try anything to get his way even bat his beautiful hazel eyes thinking he will win me over!! Ha not this time!

Xander: He has bloomed so much, talking up a storm, and eating more and more like his big brother to get big and strong. he is definitely a mammas boy following me around and wanting to be by my side no matter what im doing he always wants to be there helping me or just relaxing. He was a chill baby and he is a chill little boy.
He has become so smart surpassing his brother in wit, im afraid i am very much in trouble with this one. He is always trying new things, climbing anything he can to get to where he wants, and teasing me when i say "no" with being his funny self. He is such a ham!! He can also be very loving and sensitive at the same time.
He loves his big brother and tries to follow his every move. Its so fun to see the train of kids!!

Greg and I: Greg is working hard as ever to keep this house hold together. He helps me so much at home and yet works so hard outside of the home so I dont have too.
Around Halloween time we found an abandoned kitten that was the size of my hand, the size of a dollar. He has since then stolen our hearts and is now a permanent part of our lives, the kids love him so much he has become zaidens new playmate and best friend!

The family is growing in more ways then one and I love every minute of it!!

Finally an update!!

So after trying very hard to get into my account i finally managed to get in WOO HOO!! So here i am updating after a long break.
UPDATE #1 We have moved YAY!! After debating forever and ever we finally decided to move, we wanted to find a better neighborhood and we did its great. We have nice neighbors and there are children everywhere for the kids to play with. We have a great new fenced half backyard and a fun full side yard with lots of grass that we have found all the kids love to come and play in.
We have more room then we could ever even imagine then we had before and a nice laundry room to enjoy instead of doing our laundry in the hallway! We are now settled in and loving it.

UPDATE #2 We are going to be having a double birthday party for samara and xander this year YAY AGAIN!!! We are doing a costume party. My mom has moved to georgia and is going to be down that weekend and my grandma has even decided to make a whole weekend out of it and come down and take the kids shopping YAY SOME MORE!! We are excited to have her down here for the visit and fun. Samara will be turning the big 6 and Xander will be the big 2 WOOT!! Im looking forward to the big fun day with lots of kids, face painting, games, cake and ice cream and fun!! Ill post pics after the fun party.

UPDATE #3 As i mentioned before in the update above my mommy has moved to georgia. Its been a great experience for her, in a new place with new weather and friends. So far she is not too fond of the weather but is loving her new job and friends. She also enjoys taking breaks to come back and visit of course and we love having her when we can.

UPDATE #4 Since samara is the big 6 now that can only mean one thing... yup folks she is now officially a KINDERGARDENER WOOOOOOOT!!! She has long awaited this time and is loving it. She is such a big girl riding the bus to and from school, making new friends on the bus and in school and bringing home lots of homework and fun projects that she is doing and has done. Also she has had her first school pictures done. They arent the greatest as for some reason she did not smile her brightest smile, which surprises me because she is usually the greatest and most cheesiest girl of them all but it just so happens not on this day, but she likes them so we opted out of the retakes. So here it is guys her cute new pics.

Well i think that is all the updates i have for now!! Hope you enjoy!

** AND A FOOTNOTE 'THERE IS NO RETIREMENT -- EVER!!!

Times are tuff....

Times are tuff I never thought it would get this bad.  My grandfather passed away and my grandma is having a hard time.  My mom is having a hard time, and now finally we are now feeling the effects of the economy and the hard times.  It is not easy watching people struggle especially the ones you are close to.

Im hoping that looking to the future and seeing the good things that are to come with help all of us over come this trying time.  Just know i love you and there is hope.  Just live it up and have fun cuz our time is so short.   Just be with the ones you love and enjoy your time and theirs cuz it can be gone before you know it.   As noted in kye's obit.  "Cherish all the times you have 'cause in  a split second everything can be gone."

Kittens, Kittens, and More Kittens

So in the middle of getting excited about catching up my blog, I realized there is so  much i have not posted lately.  Our Momma cat princess had babies, and to our surprise they have turned into little white siamese (not what we were expecting if you couldn't tell)  Our mamma cat is very black and fluffy and the cat we thought got her pregnant was evidently not the one lol.

The birth was amazing and she pulled through like a champ giving birth to three little ones and it just so happened to be mothers day.  It was the best mothers day gift of all.
Since they have been born they have become so playful and fluffy.  Their colors have changed in so many ways its been really neat to watch them grow.  At the moment they have become adventurous and discovered they can leave the bathroom.  That has been quite the trick lol.  Any one else want to add more craziness to the family???  BRING IT ON!!

Here are some pictures of our fun little rug rats.
